Asianet Television Awards 2026 Celebrates Womanhood with the Theme “She is the Colour”

The much-awaited Asianet Television Awards 2026 will celebrate excellence in Malayalam television with a special focus on women empowerment this year. The grand event is themed “She is the Colour”, celebrating the strength, resilience, and achievements of women who inspire society.

As part of this meaningful theme, the ceremony honored several remarkable women personalities, including legendary playback singer Vimala Varma, first Malayalam playback singer.

The awards also paid tribute to Padmasree winners Devaki Amma and Vimala Menon, recognizing their outstanding contributions. Actress Shweta Menon, the President of the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists, and National Award-winning actress Surabhi Lakshmi were also felicitated during the ceremony.
The star-studded evening witnessed the presence of several prominent actors including Jayasurya, Vijay Babu, Asha Sarath, Lena, Esther Anil, Anumol, Akhila Bhargavan, Sarayu Mohan, Prajod Kalabhavan, Gayathri Suresh, Sabumon Abdusamad, Swasika, Tini Tom, Sijoy Varghese, Kailash, Veena Nandakumar, Sabareesh Varma, Ansiba Hassan, Dinesh Prabhakar, and many other celebrated personalities from the industry. The event was also attended by Kishan Kumar, Executive Vice President – Malayalam, JioStar.

The ceremony honored outstanding achievements in Malayalam television across multiple categories, recognizing the talent and dedication of artists and technicians who contribute to the industry’s success.

Adding to the grandeur of the evening were spectacular entertainment segments featuring mesmerizing dance performances, thrilling stunt acts, and hilarious comedy skits by popular television and film stars, making it a memorable celebration for viewers.

The Asianet Television Awards will be telecast on Asianet on March 14 and 15 (Saturday and Sunday) from 7 PM onwards, bringing the star-studded celebration to audiences across Kerala and beyond.
